Goldilocks and the Three Mean Bears

“Goldilocks and the Three Bears” is a fairy tale with a quite interesting story. Use your imagination to fracture this fairy tale and retell it in your own words.

Remember, creativity is KEY!

When fracturing the fairy tale, “Goldilocks and the Three Bears,” you are only allowed to change the plot of the story. Use the same characters, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, but create a similar story using a different point of view from one of the characters within the story. Final draft should be 1 page long!

Required Components of this assignment:
- Create a graphic organizer using a sequence of events.
- Establish a different point of view, or different narrator.
- Use detailed description and dialogue.
- Provide a conclusion with a "WOW" ending!

My Reflection:
When completing this assignment, I enjoyed having the opportunity to create a prompt, write a paper, publish a book, and create a voice thread. I could definitely see myself using this in my future classroom because it is challenging and engaging for the students. These activities allow the students to be creative with their work and having the opportunity to publish their own book. The voice thread was challenging for me, but once I figured it out, it was a fun activity. Once it is completed, it is exciting, especially as a student, because you hear your own voice and view something that you created by yourself. I would definitely integrate this technology into my future classroom!
